Edited almost seems like he's a bomb to me. I'm reminded of the game tactic of sending a rookie into a ship holding nothing but a primed grenade. Someone drops him, he drops the grenade, boom.

I get the feeling that if Edited is telling the truth on his role, he's a non-soldier. That would make him ripe for psionic meddling. Then again, I think he's feeding that line way too early.

Destiny is claiming Commander of the XCOM group, and his one-shot is a morale raise just like our don's lowering ability.

That's what he gave away to me, at least. Anyone have a different interpretation?

He's either the X-Com Commander or Nuckin Futs.

I think that makes him a major kill target, assuming he doesn't freak and use the morale boost early.

I'm guessing he's thinking that because he couldn't reach you for whatever reason, or got scared, it was because of you, not what I did, and he therefore correctly assumes that you're a threat, misguided as his information is.

So he probably thinks you're either a nexus or a hider.

Oho, I just realized - there's two reasons I could be vulnerable to explosives - if mjd is literally a bomb or he is a vigilante. Wonder if we should mind control him and get him to target someone to find out...
